My Project

I would like to give my students all the materials they need to succeed in school on the first few days of the school year and throughout the year. The first days in first grade can be scary. Our students move to a new school, meet new faces and teachers, meet new friends, and start a harder work load.

I would like my students to not see a first grade classroom, but a HOMEroom.

A space that has the comforts of home and will supply them with materials they need to learn and succeed in first grade. These materials will be used daily and will help them feel at ease and will help to calm down first grade nerves.
