Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Many students at our school are interested in learning how to play the piano. However, many have not yet discovered their love of the instrument because of a lack of access. Help us create a Piano Lab so that all students can learn (or practice) how to play the piano in music class. These 61-key portable electric pianos will allow students to explore the wonderous sounds and styles (Classical, Jazz, Rock, etc.) available at their fingertips, develop confidence by reinforcing positive learning objectives, and help foster a love of reading and performing music.
