This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Music is fundamental in everyones life. Making music can be a creative outlet for students and bring them some joy throughout their day. That is why I am looking for support in buying my students recorders! Recorders not only enforce the fundamentals of music such as reading notated music, rhythms, dynamics, etc., they are also fun to play! Students will also be prepared for further musical endeavors if they choose to continue in middle school or high school.

We need your help!

With your help, my students could have a greater musical experience and grow as skillful musicians. Throughout the school year, I constantly hear from my students, "When are we getting recorder?!" My students come from very humble means and would be ecstatic to learn a new instrument. We greatly appreciate your support and any donation you can give. Thank you!
