Making Music Accessible to More Students!

Help me give my students the equipment they need to make music! We are working towards increasing the school's inventory of instruments and equipment in order to serve more students who want to participate in our music program.

My Students

My students are hardworking, dedicated musicians! They come to class motivated and ready to play their instruments and learn every day, and despite varying levels of access and exposure to music outside of our classroom their growth as musicians leaves me in constant awe. They love making music together and sharing their enthusiasm for music with our school community.

My Project

The COVID pandemic has created many hardships, both emotional and financial, for students & parents in our community. This project will allow our music program to provide necessary tools, like mallets, bows, shoulder rests, neck straps, and mouthpieces, to students who may not otherwise be able to afford them. Students are in need of creative and expressive outlets in light of the COVID pandemic, and this project will help give those students the musical opportunities they deserve, regardless of financial status. I believe in music's ability to heal, and I know that it's an important opportunity to provide for students in a pandemic/post-pandemic world.
