My Students

Using a foundation of academic knowledge and global-mindedness, each student will create a life of possibilities and contribute to a more peaceful and just society.

My kids are inquisitive problem-solvers.

They love to come together as a community to discuss everything from animals to human innovation over time. We will ignite a movement to create a better world. We will transform our educational system by becoming an incubator of innovation.

My Project

I am extremely blessed to teach in a beautifully and authentically diverse classroom. My students come from all over the city, with a broad range of family backgrounds, cultural history, and wealth of knowledge. We celebrate this daily in our classroom, and I want to bring my students a brand new tool to help them interact with stories celebrating different cultures- this is where this project comes in.

Books can serve as windows or mirrors for children- this project would supply our classroom with a bounty of both.

The fun magnetic figures that are part of these kits will let children independently explore the story contents and sequence.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
