Making Mountain Available to All Students With Technology

My Students

I love teaching in a rural school where my students work very hard each day to be the best they can be. Most of my students come from lower middle-class families, and don't have much opportunity to enjoy technology or other things that are common place in big cities. I would love to help them by providing some better opportunities to use technology.

My Project

Through the use of an iPad, my students will better prepare themselves for success on the rise test by being able to access the Mountain Math Board and send pictures and emails so they can complete the weekly assignment at home.

The camera can be used to take a picture and then send it to them selves to do at home to complete this weekly common core assignment.

Most of my students lack the resources to be able to have access to a phone, so the don't have the ability to send this to themselves to be done at home.
