Help me give my students money skills using manipulatives and level appropriate resources
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Tyler's classroom raised $168
This project is fully funded
My Students
Special Education is not all that special; it is just a class where we can meet their needs. Accessible education means that each student can learn and grow in a supportive and individualized environment. My team and I have already started working hard to learn the unique needs of our students and have brought in items from home or borrowed items from veteran teachers. But now, it is time to make this supportive environment permanent!
My Project
My class of autistic students struggle with money and financial literacy. They are learning to use coins and bills to purchase small items and could really use the practice in the classroom to help build ADL and vocational skills in the real world.
Money Matters, so access to financial curriculum for all students is essential.
That is why I am passionate about this project and the impact it can have on our students.
With your support, they can become more independent and experience real inclusion in the community and society.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
