This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am the proud teacher of 27 of the most loving, smart, creative and sweetest kindergarten students in the world. My students love coming to school ready to learn. They are hard working individuals who want to please me and always try to do their best.

At our school, we serve a low income and predominantly Latino community.

Many of my students are English Language Learners. Because many of our school population comes from low income families, our school qualifies for free breakfast and lunch for all our students.

Our families are very supportive of their children but cannot afford to purchase certain materials for them. Due to the many budget cuts we have experienced, we have a difficult time getting the materials we need in order for all of our students to succeed.

My Project

My students need the Cricut Explore Air 2 machine to create educational resources and memory books. In addition, we will be able to create and cut out our own classroom decorations allowing me to save money. Students will also be able to create their own educational projects with adult supervision.

Remembering the best of Kindergarten is what it’s all about.

With your support, students will be able to create projects on the laptop and/or iPad and submit them directly to the Cricut. We will also be able to make our field trip t-shirts. Getting a great education and making lasting memories is what I want for my students.
