I have an active group of young learners who are currently in a French, dual-language, immersion program. My students are creative and thoughtful and have a passion for learning!
My students love to learn with sensory materials and learn best in stimulating environments.
My school is a Title One where many receive free or reduced-price lunches. It is located in the surrounding area of Los Angeles, CA. All of my students come from various backgrounds and experiences. Each one of them has their own unique learning style. An enhanced, sensory learning station in my classroom would benefit each and every single of my amazing students in my class.
My Project
These new materials would help my students for math center rotations. Having a wide variety of child-friendly materials will help make math more appealing and interesting for them. My students love hands-on learning and learn best when they are given the opportunity to solidify their new skills with the use of educational games.
My class size has greatly increased this year and we are in need of more materials to keep the math centers "fresh" and fun!
These materials would help my students with their counting in French and work on other basic math skills such as patterning and sorting.
