This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students and I are blessed to have a large amount of outdoor play materials, such as large blocks and large magnetic tiles. Unfortunately, none of these items came with storage. Currently they are being stored in a deck box, but it is a challenge to use them daily because they are heavy and bulky. The rolling storage bins would solve this problem.

Students would be able to roll the bin full of materials right out to an open space on the playground, use the materials and then clean up and roll the bin back into place on the side of our building.

This will ensure that we can access the materials as often as the students would like, rather than only when there is time and manpower available to take them out.
