See what Mrs. Harding is requestingMy students need magnetic blocks, to help them be successful at building with blocks. Many of my special education students have difficulty with fine motor activities and the magnets will assist them in build structures.

Students in my special educational preschool class have medical needs that require a full time nurse to meet their medical needs. Many of our students also have physical needs and require a wheel chair. My students are between the ages of 3-5 years old.
My morning class has 7 students, and I do not have typical peers.
The students require a small adult student ratio because of their severe medical needs. I also have an afternoon special education preschool class with 3 students that require wheel chairs. The medical needs in my afternoon class are more severe. My classroom is in an urban district.
The teacher set of magnetic blocks will assist my students in building successful structures in the classroom. Many of my students qualify with fine motor difficulties. Using magnets in the blocks with help the students build different structures without the structure falling down.
During play and exploration students using the Magnets Blocks can help teach students concepts during play that they don't even realize they are learning.
Students will be able to be creative to build different structures. They will learn Science, Math, Social Skills, Motor Skills, and Language Skills.
1. Magnets Repel (Science)
2. Fractions - How many small blocks make up one long block.(Math)
3. Scale (Math)
4. Building (Fine and Gross Motor Skills)
5. Sharing Materials (Social Skills)
6. Using words to express what they are building (Language Skills)
