Making Literacy Fun With Books and Games

My Project

My students love to engage in literacy activities. They enjoy reading interesting books and practicing their skills using hands-on tools. These materials will allow students to enhance their vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. Building literacy skills will make better readers and writers.

My school is a Title 1 school and often does not receive the opportunities and resources that others schools have in my district.

The materials requested will help my upper grade students get a head start in reading their books in preparation for our district's Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl next school year. Students will have longer time to read their books as to remember every detail of the story. While the interactive games will help to build the foundational skills that are needed for my younger students and meet the needs of some of my lower performing upper grade students.

Ultimately, each of the products listed will assist in my student's reading journey. It is my goal to help prepare my students to be successful and proficient readers and writers. Thank you for your consideration.
