This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a creative bunch with lots of energy to investigate and explore learning. Many of my students are English Language Learners and several of them have Individual Learning Plans and need extra support. Our school is 7 miles from the US-Mexico border.

Learning needs to keep them engages and Teachers Pay Teachers is a wonderful website that provides a multitude of ideas and resources for hands on activities that enhance our classroom learning.

It allows me to add differentiated learning to all units of study, to expand and enhance what we do in science, math, reading and writing. Engagement has no language!
