Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students a great end-of-the-year experience by donating kits to make kites, and also materials to create personalized buttons to give them as rewards for their hard work.

Our students will have an end-of-the-year field trip to a public metropolitan park, and we are planning to build kites and fly them as part of a STEM project.

Our students will do research and use their geometry and measurement knowledge to build and fly their kites. As a reward, when the students finish their projects, I would love to give them a personalized button with their names and praise feedback such as "great job", "well done", etc.

Most of these students have never had the opportunity to fly a kite because their parents are always working. Our students are very excited about this project, and they look forward to having a day of fun with their own creations. Please help me make their dreams come true!
