We are located in an urban area of New Jersey which has been described by the media as "the poorest city in the U.S." and "the most dangerous city in America." A full 96% of our students are classified as economically disadvantaged, and 16% have special needs.

I am a self-contained special education teacher, and this year I am teaching a wonderful group of 5th through 7th grade students. Our class would LOVE to decorate our classroom and turn our room into a winter wonderland. These items will allow my students to come to school every day and experience hope, joy, and the magic of the Christmas spirit. These children deserve a holiday in the classroom to remember forever!
