Making Good Choices Sweeter!

Help me give my students fun and motivating rewards like candies and lollipops for making positive choices through our Good Choice Store, encouraging kindness, responsibility, good behavior, and a love for learning every day.

My Project

My first graders are curious, energetic learners who are developing not only important academic skills, but also responsibility, kindness, independence, and positive decision-making. I love watching them become more confident each day as they learn that their choices and efforts matter.

The candies and lollipops requested for this project will help stock our Good Choice Store, a classroom reward system that combines positive behavior with meaningful learning.

Students earn points for making good choices, completing their work, following directions, staying on task, helping others, and showing kindness and responsibility.

In our classroom, 1 point equals 1 penny. Every Friday, students can use their earned points to “shop” for rewards at different prices. They will need to count their points, determine what they can afford, make choices about what to purchase, and decide whether to spend or save their points for another week. This gives my first graders an engaging opportunity to practice counting, money concepts, decision-making, and beginning financial literacy in a real-world setting.

These small treats become more than rewards—they become tools for learning. With your support, our Good Choice Store will help students see that good choices, hard work, and smart decisions can lead to sweet success!
