Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The school I teach at serves a diverse student population, predominantly Black, but faces significant challenges due to underfunding. Limited resources mean outdated textbooks, inadequate facilities, and a lack of essential programs. Many students come from low-income families, compounding the barriers they face in achieving their full potential.

My goal is to still give my students the best educational experience possible.

Our school is having to do a big transition of campus, and have to make drastic changes, although there are lack of resources, I want my scholars to feel as if they are in a dream that have come true when making magic inside the classroom. No matter the obstacles comes my students way, they still give it their all when it comes to learning.

Having the spinning wheel, the seating area, and the Karaoke machine will bring joy within the classroom to where scholars are engaged in learning and not worried about the resources they do not have. We envision a school where every student has access to quality education and the tools they need to succeed .Together, we can break down barriers and empower students to realize their full potential. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact on the lives of these young individuals and contribute to building a more just and equitable society.
