My Students

Imagine walking into a classroom where nothing is the same as an everyday classroom. Getting to make choices on the way that you are getting to learn and where you are in the room.

My students are individuals with their own learning styles.

Children do not all learn in the same way and we have built our learning environment to include every child. Mathematics is used everyday and my students are learning multiples ways to apply their math skills to everyday life.

My Project

Alternative seating in the classroom is letting my students choose ways to help them learn the best in their environment. None of my students are the same and they all learn in different ways.

Seating is just one of the many ways to let a student choose what is the best way for them to learn.

My students need wobble chairs and cushion, balancing pods, stack stools, and balance balls for seating in their learning environment . Sitting in a chair is not for everyone. Some kids need some constant moving to obtain the information they are learning. This alternative seating is just what my students need to better their learning environment and help them to grasp the new information they are learning every day. The wobble cushions and balance balls are to help the ones that need a little movement to help them focus. The hedgehogs are for the kids that need to just move their feet some. This seating is just what my students need to change their way in learning.
