Alternative seating in the classroom is letting my students choose ways to help them learn the best in their environment. None of my students are the same and they all learn in different ways. Seating is just one of the many ways to let a student choose what is the best way for them to learn. My students need wobble chairs and cushion, balancing pods, stack stools, and balance balls for seating in their learning environment . Sitting in a chair is not for everyone. Some kids need some constant moving to obtain the information they are learning. This alternative seating is just what my students need to better their learning environment and help them to grasp the new information they are learning every day. The wobble cushions and balance balls are to help the ones that need a little movement to help them focus. The hedgehogs are for the kids that need to just move their feet some. This seating is just what my students need to change their way in learning.
