This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have 25 amazing, talented first graders. First graders focus on learning foundational skills and putting them into context. They are ready and eager to learn. These 6 and 7-year-olds thrive on new knowledge to support their success.

My students brains are triggered to learn through color.

Their continued academic growth can be done with materials copied on multiple colors to peak their excitement and engagement. I love seeing their faces light up when we are learning about something they are excited about, whether this is animals, music, dancing, or ninjas. Help me continue to foster this love of learning and keep them excited about school! Thank you for helping us to obtain this colored paper!
