This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I hold an afterschool MakerSpace club. The MakerSpace materials are slowly depleting so it would be nice to spruce it up for the end of the year. The students love the opportunity to work with new supplies, that is why we are adding the button maker to the MakerSpace.

MakerSpace is a time for students to explore, engineer and tinker with all the supplies we have available.

This year the students have enjoyed creating animals with a variety of art supplies. They are so creative, it is fun to see their creativity shine through.
