Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The resources provided by this project will help restore our makerspace color printers back to proper working order. Our makerspace is utilized by our Business Professionals of America students to prepare and print material related to their competitions and service learning project events. Throughout this year, our students have used the printers to prepare for our Regional Leadership Conference, followed by our State Leadership Conference, of which eight students advanced to the National Leadership Conference. Throughout these competitions, the students used our makerspace color printers to print copies of their research, brochures, and presentations to complete their presentation portfolios in competition. As the year comes to a close though, our color printers need updates in their supplies, one printer needs a new belt unit so it can re-calibrate its color output, and another needs a new set of drum units so that it can register and align its print outs. After a hard year of use on these units, the resources provided through this project will help to recalibrate and allow the units to register their output quality for the end of this year and the year to come.
