My Students

I have an INCREDIBLE group of 3rd graders! We have boys and girls in our class with a variety of abilities, levels, needs, strengths, and likes/dislikes. Overall, my students are kind, fun, competitive, and hard working! My class especially likes technology and movement in their learning. They seem to connect more to their learning when these methods are involved!

My Project

These items will help to grow our classroom's Makerspace. Our Makerspace currently has a few hands on activities that students can choose from. The Plus Plus blocks will provide another fun, hands-on building activity. We also have a monthly Makerspace challenge that students can work on to complete, improve, and reflect on. The origami paper and book will be used as a monthly challenge. Students will be able to get an origami paper and follow the directions to fold a shape. Finally, Teachers Pay Teachers has many additional options for Makerspace activities that I can download and use with classroom supplies that we have available like popsicle sticks, clothespins, dominoes, etc.
