My Project

Teaching talented and passionate students is very rewarding and challenging at the same time. It's rewarding because they take on the every task I give them and deliver good results. It's challenging because we have limited resources, so we just have to be resourceful. It kind of limits what my students can do.

Having a makerspace with the right tools and equipment will result in endless possibilities.

With your donation, this makerspace will help equip my students with critical 21st-century skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and an introduction to arts and entrepreneurship. They will use the Cricut Machine to create t-shirt designs by applying math and art and the heat press to iron the designs on the shirt. They will need to compute their expenses and price the shirt in a way that will generate income. They will use the 3D pen, glue gun, and glue sticks to fix objects and to create new ones. There are so many things that can be done and for the students to accomplish if only they have these tools and equipment.
