My Students

These students are public high school students interested in design, drafting and engineering. My students are multicultural, from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds.

My students are observant of the world around them and strive to better not only themselves but society as a whole.

They are creative, passionate and willing to work to overcome adversities they face. Specifically these students are willing to work collaboratively to solve a multitude of challenges.

They have a variety of interest from medical to manufacturing.

With your help, these students will experience better hands on project based learning activities to prepare for 21st century opportunities.

My Project

With the purchase of a MakerBot 3-D Printer, engineering students will be able to use skills learned to experiment with rapid prototyping which is a part of their curriculum. Using Autodesk INVENTOR, students will be able to not only design but test ideas as done within industry today. Students will create objects imagined and designed.

I would like to empower today’s students to become the innovators of tomorrow.

By having the ability to 3D print with MakerBot, students can make learning immersive through sight and touch, transforming these students of today into the innovators of tomorrow as well as lifelong learners of the 21st century.
