The softer lighting, natural elements, and affirming visuals immediately changed the feel of the room, helping students feel more at ease the moment they entered. The buffet table allows materials to be organized and accessible, making sessions feel structured yet warm and approachable.\r\n\r\nStudents have already shared that the space feels \"comfortable,\" \"peaceful,\" and \"safe.\" I have noticed that students are more willing to engage in conversation, regulate their emotions, and participate meaningfully in counseling sessions.
