Your generosity made it possible to thoughtfully design an environment that supports students' emotional well-being and sense of belonging.\r\n\r\nThe materials from this project—including wall art, mirrors, plants, lamps, and a buffet table—were intentionally selected to transform our counseling space into a calm, comfortable, and inviting area. The softer lighting, natural elements, and affirming visuals immediately changed the feel of the room, helping students feel more at ease the moment they entered. The buffet table allows materials to be organized and accessible, making sessions feel structured yet warm and approachable.\r\n\r\nStudents have already shared that the space feels \"comfortable,\" \"peaceful,\" and \"safe.\" I have noticed that students are more willing to engage in conversation, regulate their emotions, and participate meaningfully in counseling sessions. Creating a space that feels different from a traditional classroom has helped students open up, build trust, and focus on personal growth.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, students recognize that this space was created with care and intention. Knowing that donors believed in the importance of their mental health and emotional support has had a powerful impact.
