Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
During the pandemic, I did my best to teach my students the ins and outs of Theatre Production. A class that is typically hands-on became 100% virtual. For whatever reason, many of these students decided to take the second level of Stage Production when they returned to campus and that is what makes them special. It was my duty to make sure that when these kids returned to campus that we would be doing hands on projects. Upon our return, many of our resources spoiled - this included paint and theatre makeup.
My students would feel the safest if we had enough new makeup to replenish our older supply, so that they can practice during the makeup unit that prepares them for the Haunted House and plays.
This would be heaven sent if you could supply my students with these supplies as they continue to develop and hone these skills that could guide them towards a path of make-up design. To top things off, we have an even bigger emphasis on using makeup now that we have to be COVID-19 cautious.
