My Students

My students come from a variety of different socioeconomic backgrounds. 45% of our school population receives free or reduced rate lunch. My students are not defined by this statistic, but it does affect the needs of our school. Many of the students see school as a safe place to grow and learn.

My group of first graders are energetic, hardworking, and kind.

They are a group that is always doing their best and wants to continue to learn. Our classroom strives to achieve our goals each and every day!

My Project

The Monthly Social Studies Bundle covers various cultures, issues, parts of the world, and topics. I want to give my student a window into the world and teach them more about the world we live in. Each year students get the same stories, and I want to give the the opportunity to see other stories. This bundle provides ebooks, discussions, writing assignments, and projects.

I hope to inspire the next generation to be compassionate, informed, and empathetic citizens in our world.

To do this, I need the resources to share with my students. This product gives me the lessons to provide a voice to many that have been quieted in history or voices that are only taught about once a year. I can bring these voices and lessons to my students and help them them be empathetic citizens.
