Help me give my students a chance to read at a glance. Give them the opportunity to read books that's fun, engaging, and also of their choice.

This year, 20 to 25 scholars will enter into a new environment. It is my responsibility to get them to where they need to be academically and in life, regardless of what they come to school with. A lot of our little ones are in desperate need of educational items that will support their educational success. In Math, we are learning how to decompose numbers, identify shapes by attributes, and identify numbers from 0 to 100, just to name a few things. In Literacy, we are learning how to read, how to retell stories using key details, and how to answer higher-order thinking questions. Please help us support our young learners.
My classroom, filled with about 20 kindergarten students, yearn for engaging texts that pushes them beyond their comfort zone. We're stepping into a new age where it is imperative that we teach our little ones how to agree, disagree, make a point with evidence, and also separate emotions from fiction and nonfiction text. This skill can only be mastered when they have a solid foundation in reading and comprehension.
The group of materials, leveled readers, helps them build decision making skills.
They are aloud to pick a book of their choosing to read. In their group, they will have the opportunity to discuss their own understanding and ask each other questions.
This skill is one that we as adults struggle with today. We know where we need to close the gap, so let's work together to get it done.
I am a strong advocate for our youth and where they can truly go.
