My Project

Creativity is a big part of my classroom. Creating books from individual students to whole class sets is something I love doing. My class loves to write. With all our new Knowledge Curriculum students have been reading and learning a variety of informational and entertaining texts. So I plan to have them create some of their own Greek Myths and Fairy Tales.

Reading a Fairy Tale, to writing their own, and binding it into their very own book will make this unit so special.

Why stop with this unit, my class will continue throughout the year making books. Weekly we have a special person of the class, and all the students write sentences telling that students how special they are. Then I make a book for the child to take home. Having my own binder will make this step in the process so, so, so easy.
