My Project

This year we adopted a new literacy curriculum. Each module has a fun and exciting theme that they students are loving! However, it is lacking some of the learning tools that will help engage students and encourage their oral language skills. My classroom has many students who speak another language at home, so the more visuals and manipulatives I can include in my instruction the better! This project includes puppets to help retell stories we are reading, tools to encourage great writing, and other teaching tools to make our learning more fun!
