Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in an urban school district. I teach math and sciences at the different blocks- two sciences and one math class. I love my students because they demonstrate an atmosphere of diversity who are willing to explore new things.
Due to the diverse nature of my students, many of them struggle with academic work.
Some of these students walk to school hungry.
My Project
Learning is a continuous process and it can occur both in class and on the field. Effective learning take place both in class and during field trips. Students sometimes feel bored learning on one spot. They want varieties- a learning environment that is interesting that would spur their interest to continue their exploration.
Students are usually excited to explore new things-particularly going on field trips.
Going on a field trip require handy technological device like iPad to facilitate students' learning adventure, work in groups, communicate their results with one another and with their teachers.
