Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are goofy, silly, funny, emotional, frustrated, energetic, impulsive, and craving someone to care about them. My classroom consists of ten students with special needs and fifteen students of mixed English Language Learners and general education students. This makes it difficult to meet the various needs of the students in my classroom.
I do my very best to make each child feel special and assure them they can do it.
My school has a huge population of low socioeconomic students, as well as children in shelters. It would be great to give these students a chance and an opportunity to meet their optimal potential.
My Project
What's more fun than adding art supplies to everything?
Kids are sad right now, and it's our job to make them happy.
What's happier than paint spinning in circles to create endless patterns?
We need your help to bring fun, happy, giggly art to our students. This is the hardest time we have ever faced and we need to get our kids smiling again. We are trying to find silly art supplies to bring some happiness back into our learning, even if it's social distance learning!
It's because of hearts like yours that we can get through this terrible time. We thank you everyday with all of our hearts for thinking of us!
