This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To provide children with more tools that help them improve skills (like measurement) and continue to unleash their creativity, we want to introduce sewing to our facility. Currently, the Race against Waste program is open to my pupils. The volume of textiles is steadily increasing, which has a terrible effect on both individuals and the environment. You will help instructors create a service-learning activity that focuses on reducing and/or reusing fabric while guiding students through an investigation of fabric waste in their neighborhood. To repurpose the fabric waste and make new things, we require sewing machines.
