My Project
As a specialized special education school in NYC, we work hard to give students an active role in our school and community. Keeping our halls festive for holidays, furnishing the plays, making costumes, or selling small crafts is no small task. In fact, my class has taken this on as a job site. Students “clock in” and get to crafting. Having students work on task completion, fine motor skills, counting, matching, and work place behavior are just a few reasons why our worksite is so exciting
Having access to a Cricut will ensure all students are able to contribute in meaningful and dignified ways!
The instructive cutting machine will help us teach technology skills and give students with fine motor needs the opportunity to make beautiful products independently.
