My students are incredibly motivated and excited about learning and are wanting to push themselves to make it happen. They are engaging and encouraging their peers to learn and grow as well. Most of my students come from low-income backgrounds and some struggle with entering school with their basic physiological and social-emotional needs met.
These kids are enthusiastic, driven, and altogether wonderful.
I know they can and will do amazing things, but their abilities will be multiplied exponentially with assistance from kind and compassionate donors such as yourself.
My Project
As educators, we know students cannot learn unless they feel safe and respected in the classroom. Students deserve a classroom environment that is warm and welcoming, where they are undoubtedly valued as individuals. Students need to feel that their classroom is a home to them.
Significant learning requires a significant investment in an environment that is inclusive and stimulates the desire to learn.
By helping fund flexible seating, classroom decor, and more accessible modalities of learning, you would be helping to create an inclusive and welcoming classroom for all students, thus helping me achieve equitable education for all my students.
