Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Although texting and emailing are common forms of communication now a days, many families in my community are not fully comfortable with technology. Often, I mail home letters regarding a student's academic status, campus events and much more!
An automatic letter folder would save so much time from folding hundreds of letters to mail home.
This extra time saved would allow me to continue interacting with students one on one and providing them with direct services while maintaining communication with their families in multiple ways.
By making the logistics of mailing home letters easier, student and family engagement will increase, overall helping serve students in my community.
