Help me give my students rewards for their hard work during distance learning. Students need praise and motivation that is beyond a digital reward. A postcard or certificate in the mail from their teacher makes their rewards real.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a group of inquisitive 5th graders with many needs. They are curious about the world and of everything in it. They work tirelessly in class every day but can use a few more resources for their learning.
My students need incentives for their work during Distance Learning.
Many of the traditional rewards that teachers use in the classroom do not work very well during distance learning. Simple stamps, postcards, and envelopes allow me to mail them a reward that is tangible to my students.
My Project
During the course of a school day, teachers are usually able to give small and tangible rewards to students for their work. For example, we place stickers on their work, or stamps with accolades. We give them reading certificates when they reach goals that they are then able to take home. Because of distance learning, this type of incentive is much more difficult to get into the hands of students. These tangible rewards help motivate students and make them feel accomplished and successful during distance learning. This project will provide the stamps and envelopes needed to mail student certificates, postcards, and other incentives through the mail.
I want to give my students tangible incentives and rewards for their hard work and dedication during distance learning.
I want them to feel the excitement of receiving a piece of mail that is theirs with a prize for their work. I want them to get something physical, not just something that they can view on the computer. Certificates, postcards of encouragement and small rewards through the mail will give students just this real reward during virtual times.
