My Project
I work in a Title 1 school, where many of my students don't have the same resources as their suburban counterparts. A simple thing like a mailbox where my students can pick up their own papers would make a big difference in their self confidence. Currently, papers are distributed on their desks, which offers no privacy, even when they are placed face down. Having a mailbox, where students can individually pick up their own papers would provide them with the privacy so many would like to have. Students wouldn't feel embarrassed if they didn't do as well as their table mates, because their class work is now being returned in a more private manner.
