Students learn at many different rates these days. Guided reading and guided math are unique and valuable times for teachers to hone in and deliver that special instruction. During station rotation, I have a variety of centers in my room designed for math and reading centers. My students love this time. One special center, i-Ready, is a favorite for everyone. It is a time for them to receive individualized math and reading lessons based on their specific needs. If my project is funded, I would be able to incorporate i-Ready on a daily basis into my Station Rotation for Guided Reading and Math! Each time a student passes a lesson in i-Ready, the program automatically adjusts the lessons based on the student's needs. This is crucial in the academic development of the student. Currently, I can only do i-Ready once or twice a week due to a shortage of computers.
