My Students

My students are a great bunch of small town kids. They are curious, funny, insightful, and intelligent. They have big hearts and a desire to learn.

My students are motivated learners who have the potential to do big and great things.

My Project

Math is challenging! Students are working hard to catch up from the shut down in the spring. Many do not know basic math facts. This is something we are working on daily.

Calculators and math games will be utilized to help with learning and retention of basic math facts.

Calculators can be a useful tool when used in a way that strengthens existing skills. They are also helpful when visiting the grocery store, buying books from book clubs, adding allowance, and any number of other uses in the future.

Students want to feel success. Playing math games is a way for everyone to be involved no matter their skill level. They are able to strengthen skills and learn new things in a fun cooperative way. This will help prepare them for future success.
