Magnificent Math Workshop

Help me give my students materials to improve our math centers, intervention and focus groups. Flexible seating and laminating materials are a must to keep students focused and the materials lasting a long time.

My Project

Currently grades 3-5 run a math workshop model. The centers include hands-on practice and fluency practice. We are constantly looking for materials to make math time more engaging for the students. The students love to use manipulatives and play games. Using these materials, I could continue to create center games for the classroom teachers and my own intervention groups and enrichment groups. These materials would help to create the centers, anchor charts and other materials as well as provide storage for them. In my office currently I only have enough seating for four students so the stools would help me fit my groups more easily and give them a choice of flexible seating. The best way to increase their math ability is to practice in new and exciting ways, and these supplies will continue to help my students grow stronger in math.
