Magnificent Math Tool Kits

Help me give my students an individual learning kit with the base ten blocks, square tiles, a white board, and a case so they can continue learning anywhere-at home or at school!

My Students

I teach in a Title I school. Our families support their children's education and want them to do well in school. Finding the extra money to provide learning supplies is a luxury many of our families don't have.

My students are excited to come to school and learn every day!

Their eagerness to learn and curiosity is what drives me to be the best teacher I can be for them!

Now more than ever, our students need access to their own individual supplies. Sharing of supplies will not be safe. In order to provide all students access to the tools needed to be successful, I need these materials to create individual tool kits for students to use whether they are learning in person or at home. I appreciate your help in providing equitable access for all of my students.

My Project

Third grade is a big year for math! Third graders are building and solidifying their understanding of our number system, including place value, basic operations, fractions, and problem-solving. A deep understanding of these basic concepts in math provides the foundation for complex mathematics in later grades.

The Magnificent Math Tool Kit will allow my third graders to build the firm foundation in mathematical thinking they will need to do advanced math in later grades.

These kits will allow each student to have their own kit. This means they will be able to use these tools safely, whether at home or in school while maintaining distance and without sharing materials.
