Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As we finish up our year, I feel as though my classroom could use a little refresh for next year. I would greatly appreciate your help with this!

I would love to use the magnetic ten frames to engage my students in routine number sequence activities, such as counting the days of the school year.

I also feel that this being visible constantly, will emphasize the importance of this foundational skill and create an inviting learning environment.

I have also added social-emotional learning toys and literacy toys to encourage development, even during choice play time. I am always looking for ways to engage my students in literacy centers that are play-based, yet educational.
