My Students

My students are a group of dreamers, thinkers and readers that are full of curiosity and love to learn! My students come from several different backgrounds and are each unique in his or her own way. They come in everyday, ready to learn in new, fun and creative ways, even though we never know what they went through the night before.

Most of my students depend on the consistency and love that the school gives to them in his or her life.

For some, school is the only comfort, welcoming part of their life. My students are like "my kids" during the school year, in which I not only teach them, but give them the support and love that they may not receive at home like a lot of other children receive.

My students are eager to find new ways to learn in the classroom. They thrive on the new strategies, technology and materials that we receive from DonorsChoose! If it wasn't for you, who help classrooms in need, my students wouldn't have these terrific opportunities in the classroom! Thank you from not only me, but all of my students from the bottom of our hearts!

My Project

These magazines will make a difference in my students’ learning by providing them with real-life knowledge in several subjects like reading, science, history, and character education.

Each student will have magazines and will be able to read along with the whole class.

The students will be learning so many different important facts about several different subjects. They will be able to relate real-life events and things to the facts that they read in these magazines.

I am so excited to implement this cross-curriculum material into my classroom daily! The students will benefit daily from this amazing material and love it!
