My Project

In my room, my third graders have access to 3 magnetic boards. The National Geographic magnetic marble kits are the perfect addition to my classroom for that reason! Each day, my students participate in STEM centers that make them work collaboratively and to think creatively to problem solve and build.

A magnetic marble run will teach my students critical thinking by problem solving solutions to gravity.

Gravity will cause the marbles to fall straight to the ground if it isn't supported by the track. My students will learn how to fix their track to allow the marbles to fall safely down the magnetic board. It will give a very basic introduction to physics that might spark a love for learning!
