This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In today's world, fostering kindness and positivity is more important than ever. As educators, we have a unique opportunity to instill these values in our students and cultivate a culture of kindness within our school community. One effective way to do this is by providing students with the tools to create and share positive messages.

We are requesting requesting funding for magnet supplies that will enable our students to craft uplifting messages and spread kindness throughout the school.

The students will work collaboratively in sessions to create their own positive messages. This will help provide a creative and interactive platform for students to express themselves and brainstorm impactful messages of kindness and encouragement. The magnets created by students will be displayed prominently throughout the school, such as hallways, classroom doors, and common areas. This will ensure that the positive messages reach a wide audience and serve as constant reminders of the importance of kindness.

By encouraging students to create and share positive messages, we contribute to building a supportive and inclusive school environment where kindness is celebrated. The magnet workshops empower students to express themselves creatively while spreading messages of kindness that resonate with their peers. Displaying the magnets serves as a visual reminder for students to practice kindness in their interactions with others, fostering a culture of empathy and compassion.
