My Project

My class learns about magnetic forces every year in our physical science unit. We need a variety of magnets to enable students to explore the properties and effects of magnetism in a fun and engaging way.

By providing students with opportunities to conduct science investigations with magnets, they will deepen their conceptual understanding of magnetic force and its properties.

Through hands-on exploration, students will learn about magnetic poles, attraction, repulsion, and the effects of magnets on different materials. Engaging students in scientific inquiry will foster their curiosity and critical thinking skills. Science investigations with magnets will encourage collaboration and communication among students as they work together to conduct experiments, share observations, and discuss their findings. Collaborative learning experiences will enhance students' social and interpersonal skills while reinforcing scientific concepts.

The provision of different types of magnets for science investigations will engage students in hands-on science investigations. They will conduct

experiments and make observations, and develop inquiry and critical thinking skills as they investigate the properties and effects of magnetism. Your support for this project will provide our third-grade students with an enriching and interactive learning experience that will spark their curiosity and inspire a lifelong interest in science.

Mrs. Yee will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 15.
