Help me give my students magnets and magnet lab activities for science exploration!
My students come from a small, rural community. There is a lot of diversity in the socioeconomic status among the students in my school. The students have a wide variety of needs. Some students need interventions and a high level of support to help them meet their learning goals, while other students need activities that are above grade level that will keep them engaged and challenged.
My students are curious and eager to learn, but need better resources to help meet their varying needs.
Meeting the needs of many different students can be challenging, but it is very rewarding. We have little funding to make this happen and often have to make do with limited or outdated resources.
I’m moving up to a different grade level this upcoming school year! I’m really excited to teach a new curriculum, but, since I’m starting fresh, that also means I don’t have all of the resources I need, yet! Fourth grade has fun science units, including a physical science unit, which will have students learning all about magnetism.
These magnets and the magnet lab will give my students the fun materials they need to explore magnetism.
Help me stock up my new classroom with fun resources for my kids. I know they’ll appreciate it!
