Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students are very excited to learn and have many concepts to master this year. They are learning letters, sounds, numbers, shapes, and more. They need opportunities to interact with the curriculum in many ways.

These materials will allow my students to write and build words, sentences, and math equations.

The large two-sided board can be used by the teacher or by a group of students. The students will use the small whiteboards for dictation as well as drawing and writing math stories and equations. The magnetic letters, and numbers allow them to build the words, sentences. and equations. This is a much more engaging way of learning than just using pencil and paper.

My goal is for these materials to help the struggling learners to master the basics and for the advanced students to continue to excel. All students learn at their own pace and these material will allow me differentiate to meet all the students' needs.
